Our slice of paradise sits on 1 acre of manicured tropical orchard with over 40 varieties of fruit trees, a giant stand of bamboo, hundreds of orchids and herbs. Newly constructed unattached studio cottage with canopy queen size bed and super comfortable full size futon. Indoor bath with shower and outdoor bamboo shower. Brand new kitchen and an adorable lanai for enjoying the panoramic view of sunset or morning coffee. Our teak swing above the cottage offers a horizon view of the ocean.

You'll walk up a short, forested path to a private keyless entrance with a front lanai sitting area in view of the native forest. Inside, a breakfast nook with toaster oven, toaster,coffee maker, kettle, and a small refrigerator. A cozy bedroom with a desk and a Smart tv await you. WiFi and cable are provided. Your private bath has a walk-in shower. The forest fronting my home is yours to explore. My home is within Volcano Village and just 2 miles from Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park.

As of October 1, 2023 we will be running as a Bed and Breakfast and will be serving continental breakfast! The bedroom is fully furnished including a Cal King bed. The room is on the 2nd floor of this large 6 bedroom house situated on 3 acres of tranquil Hawaii paradise. Includes fast WiFi, cable and towels. Close to Hilo and Volcano National Park. Our home is not suitable for children under 12 years old.

Rainforest Views - B&B One Mile from Downtown Hilo

The suite is very spacious (500 sq/ft), located less than one mile to downtown Hilo on a private 1.7 acre property. The house is accented with hardwood floors and tastefully furnished including a queen size bed. The room has a private entrance, private bathroom and private deck overlooking a beautiful valley with a small waterfall. The unit has access to a covered gazebo with a shared BBQ cooking area.
