This bright, modern, hand crafted concept cottage with private lanai boasts 560 sq. feet of living space at a comfortable 2,500 feet of elevation with average temperatures of 76° during the day and 66° in the evening. Soak in serene surroundings of Ohia trees and ornamental plant-life flooded with the sound of birds singing in the morning. Relax or sleep on a comfortable couch. You will love staying in this super clean and comfortable Cottage.

This is a thoughtfully furnished home with an open layout, on a coffee farm, just bring your food and clothes for which ever adventure you intend; leave the accommodations and ambiance to us.

Our place is a cute, rustic cottage in the countryside, surrounded by 850 acres. Only 3 miles from Hawi Town and walking distance to ocean and historical trails to Kamehameha's birth site and Mo'okini Heiau. Since we live by pastures we sometimes have geckos (our local lizard). They are our friends because they eat the bugs, which we sometimes have. Awesome ocean and sunset views. During Humpback Whale Season (Dec-Apr) you can sometimes hear the whales sing and flapping their tails.

'Hale Iki' is a hidden treasure located in Volcano, Hawai'i. It is hand crafted entirely of cedar. The cottage is only 5 minutes away from Volcanoes National Park. You’ll love the coziness, privacy, high ceilings, loft, full kitchen, wood burning stove, and two-person tub. This house was built by my grandfather 30 years ago, and has retained the charm and warmth that he crafted into this cozy cottage.
