Stone House - Joy River Backpackers

The Stone House is self-catering and contains, in the main bedroom, one double and one 3/4 bed with an en-suite bathroom, flush toilet, bath and shower. The lounge, with a fireplace, contains a single bed and couch. Bedding is provided and mosquito nets. Joy River Backpackers is situated at the very beginning of the Blyde River Canyon. A genuine African village experience, rustic & laid-back atmosphere prevails and the buildings blend serenely into that of the village. The water is potable.

Tiny living at Kamoka Camp

Find some quietness in the middle of nature surrounded by wild animals in our environmentally friendly houses. The houses are completely independent and respectful of the environment, relying on solar energy. Our aim is to not impact the environment in any way. The comfortable tiny houses are fully equipped with a kitchen, en-suite bathroom and terrasse. Unwind on the terrace while listening to the numerous wild animals present on the farm such as leopards, giraffes, impalas and buffaloes.

Southern Sands Ecolodge

Southern Sands Ecolodge offers luxury tented accommodation located on the banks of the mighty Olifants River and on the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve. Set apart to offer privacy, these well-equipped tents each have a private bathroom with an outdoor shower, a fire pit and an outdoor kitchenette. They each have a furnished deck area overlooking the river. “I offer guided tours, safari drives, bush walks, birding experiences, and transfers, just ask me about adding amazing activities to your stay!”

House on Blyde offers a fully equipped, self-catering house in paradise. Uniquely nestled on the banks of the renowned Blyde River in the Blyde Canyon, in its own privately secured nature reserve. Offering breathtaking, luscious open green lawns, roaming wildlife, stunning riverfront views, breathtaking sights of the mountains, and sunsets to die for. The cry of fish eagles and the cobbles of the river remind you that you have reached your destination for the peace and privacy you deserve.

Ntoma House

With only 3 luxury rooms catering for 6 guests, Ntoma House offers a romantic and intimate experience and is the perfect hideaway for a private family or secluded lockdown destination. 2 Bedrooms with king size/twin beds and another with a double bed are available. The lodge is designed with modern day comforts, using materials that allow guests to continuously experience the natural beauty of their surroundings. The cosy lounge is equipped with a TV and offer Shomax and Netflix.

Ngama Bush House

Located in a Private Nature Reserve and nestled under large Marula and Sausage Trees, the Bush House is the perfect place to sit back and take in the beauty of the natural environment or explore the surrounding attractions. The house sleeps 8 adults in 3 bedrooms, with an additional sleeper couch in one of the rooms to accommodate 2 small children. A fully equipped kitchen, swimming pool, DSTV, WIFI, bedding and linen, ensure you have everything you need while staying at the house.

Private Bush House with Beautiful River Views

Rukiya River House is located in the Wild Rivers Nature Reserve neighbouring the Greater Kruger. It is an private residence built beneath old riverine trees on the banks of the Blyde River. Although the house is complete private you have the added benefit of being within the grounds of Rukiya Safari camp where you can go for meals, enjoy a dip in the pool and join safari activities. The house has beautiful river views and when staying you have access to Wild Rivers Nature Reserve.

Hidden in amongst the mango and citrus farms next to the Blyde River it is a true hidden gem, our two cabins offer accommodation for a stop over on your trip, a family holiday, a romantic getaway or a base to explore the area. The setting next to the river and surrounded by nature offers a wholesome, relaxing experience. It is any birder and bird photographers dream location with four different biomes within easy reach. My Side of the Mountain.

Tucked away in lush indigenous woodland, a delightful and roomy cottage is located in the charming village of Kampersrus, situated on the eastern slopes of the stunning Blyde River Canyon. "My Side of the Mountain" is an ideal getaway for nature lovers, as mongoose, bushbabies, and antelope frequently wander through the area. A diverse array of birds also inhabits the surroundings, their constant songs creating a beautiful backdrop to the natural environment.

"Camp Bethel" - KNOBTHORN Tented Accommodation

KNOBTHORN at Camp Bethel is a tented safari camp offering accommodation within 48 km of the Orpen Gate to the Kruger National Park. The tent is erected on a elevated wooden deck set in the natural bush with animals such as Zebra, Kudu and Impala roaming freely. The tent has its own private bathroom with a shower.
