Charming Private Home in Heart of Hollywood

I am open to pets. HOWEVER please reach out to me before booking if you are planning to bring a pet. I want to make sure its a good fit. Also I do charge a pet fee that is for deep cleaning due to future guests with pet allergy sensitivities. If you end up having a pet stay without my approval and I find out from my cleaners I will charge an additional $25 a day. Charming Spanish bungalow sits in the heart of Hollywood tucked away on a hidden quiet walk street within walking distance of everything you need or want-movie theaters, restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, yoga classes. Located 4 blocks from Hollywood Blvd. 2 blocks from the Cahuenga Corridor, which is considered one the coolest areas in Los Angeles, if not the United States because all within a 4 block radius are great restaurants, bars, music venues, clubs, recording studios, juice bars, yoga studios, gyms, a farmers market, shops and much more. So you dont even need to rent a car!!!! On a historical note--This house was used as housing for MGM actors in the 20s and 30s including the likes of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton! The house was entirely remodeled a few years ago while keeping the original hardwood floors and french windows. The ceilings were raised to 12 ft throughout the house as well as the entry where the ceiling has been vaulted to 14 ft. A spherical chandelier hangs down from the top. There's also a custom one of a kind green penny tiled faux fireplace that centers the living room as well as a closet in the living room for additional storage if necessary. The open floor plan allows one to easily walk into the kitchen area which has stove, refrigerator, dishwasher as well as a small circular dining table. The bathroom has a Kohler pedestal sink, a large medicine cabinet, a shower/tub, basket weave floor tile and running bond subway tile running throughout the shower. It also features a private wood fence enclosed yard, front porch, as well as a covered back porch that's perfect for an evening drink or morning coffee. For convenience there is a washer and dryer on the side of the house. Wireless internet and tv included. THE LIVING ROOM) get lots of light due to the 8 foot tall french windows that open and high ceilings. Theres an Eames chair from the 60's and a large plush brown couch. Both perfect for relaxing. A 55 inch flat screen TV thats great for watching movies centers the living room. Theres also a ceiling fan for light as well as ventilation. THE BEDROOM) has a memory foam queen size bed, nightstand and a dresser as well as a large closet with plenty of space. It also has a ceiling fan with light and 5 speeds. Blinds are there as well to make the bedroom dark. Clean sheets, blankets and comforter are provided. ~THE BATHROOM) has an great adjustable 5 mode shower head, tub for baths, a medicine cabinet and another cabinet above the toilet for your toiletries; a hairdryer; shampoo, conditioner, and soap should you forget yours. Towels are provided. - .15 miles from Arclight Cinemas, 24 hour fitness as well as all the bars, restaurants and shops that have made the Cahuenga Corridor an extremely desirable area. - .25 miles to Hollywood Blvd and the Walk of Fame. - .2 miles to De Long Pre' Park(URL HIDDEN).3 miles to Hollywood and Vine - 1 mile to Hollywood Bowl - 1.3 miles to Griffith Park - .7 miles to US 101 entrance - 3 miles to Runyon Canyon - 7 miles to Downtown LA PRICE INCLUDES • Use of Entire house and yard • Wireless internet (the fastest). • Washer and dryer. • Netflix. -ACTIVITIES There is a Guestbook that will supply you with loads of information on Restaurants, Bars and Clubs, Shopping, Fitness, etc. ~LAX I am only 6 miles from the airport. A Uber is $50 plus tip, and the SHUTTLE is $30. You may also take the Blue Bus which stops outside of each terminal. Please inquire from information at LAX once you arrive. Guests can expect to have an amazing experience due to that your are in a quiet stand alone house and yet minutes away from all the action--Hollywood Blvd, Cahuenga Corridor, etc. Its an ideal location cause even though your 4 blocks from Hollywood Blvd the summer and weekend crowds aren't congesting this area. It's a mix of everyone and everything from celebrities to homeless. Vibrant, exciting and always something to do! Walking around would be best since everything is so close. And if you need a car I would Lyft or Uber. Parking is available on the street. Its free. There is also street cleaning on Monday and Tuesday so please look at the signs.

Rustic Space Perched in the Hollywood Hills

Drink in panoramic city views from Hollywood to the ocean from the freestanding bathtub at a private guest unit nestled in the wooded hillside. Wake up in the cabin-like bedroom and step out onto the sun-drenched terrace for a cup of coffee or tea. Listed in Time Out “Top Airbnb’s in LA” https://www.timeout.com/los-angeles/hotels/best-airbnbs-in-los-angeles An extremely well designed open plan guest unit: complete with queen bed, bathtub & sink, private toilet, small fridge, with inside and outside hang out space and a strong bluetooth speaker for music. Also included is a hot plate, all cooking utensils necessary, a Nespresso machine with pods and an American standard coffee pot with coffee and sugar, a microwave, and filtered drinking water. (the iMac and screen are removed from the desk, and the unit will be delivered with no clutter of any kind. Bring your devices as they will be happy with the blazing fast internet and power ports all over the house, inside and out.) Toilet and sink are located 1 step from the French doors, behind the antler of the main picture of the listing. Fridge also located outside the unit by one step from the opposite french door. Guest unit requires your ability to climb many stairs from the street level, so it is best as a guest you are comfortable with stairs. You may access the exterior day bed shown in the photos and outdoor shower on the walkway up to the guest unit. The guest unit is at the rear of my home with complete privacy. The outdoor shower is shared with the main house. Guests have their own private entrance and exit to the shower from the guest unit. Stairs! It is required you walk up three sets of stairs from the street to access the guest unit in the back of the home. Guests that are comfortable with stairs will have no issues. I am happy to help any guests with their plans while here in the city on their arrival. Afterward I am reachable via email or text throughout your stay to offer any more guidance or help. The guest suite sits on a quiet street, near Franklin Village, restaurants, and the lovely Griffith Park. The neighborhood’s dramatic hills are great for walking, and it’s convenient to Hollywood, Los Feliz, and Silver Lake. Parking is always available on the street in front of the house (and it's FREE) and the local DASH bus is available in a matter of minutes after a short walk down the hill that goes straight to the metro. Renting a car while in LA however is recommended as the city is very large. Many of my guests use Uber as well for its convenience. No Smoking inside the unit. No pets. Outdoor shower is shared with the main house. Location is not conducive for guests with young children.

1924 Spanish Retreat in the Hollywood Hills

Wake up to city views and soak up the sunshine at a classic Spanish Hollywood hideaway with Bohemian flavor. Eat breakfast on the terrace and look out over the treetops swaying in the cool breeze, before a hike to the famous Hollywood Sign. Gated, Spanish charmer in the Hollywood Hills, between Beachwood Canyon and the Hollywood Dell. Decks with views and outdoor living space/patio with hillside mediterranean gardens. House is divided - Guest will stay in the Two-Story Main House while Hosts live in the back of house with separate entrance. We are well-traveled creative types on premises in the divided back house. We'll meet you when you arrive and show you the house & yard, and then be available by text or call for any questions. We are more than happy to interact with guests, but also respect that some guests may want to keep to themselves. Walk to Hollywood, Beachwood Canyon, or Franklin Village. Uber or Lyft comes in seconds and takes minutes to Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park, and West Hollywood. Griffith Park is minutes from the house. Walk to the Hollywood and Vine Metro Red Line Station, The Flyaway bus from LAX drops you off at Hollywood and Argyle just 5 blocks away. It is only 8 dollars. Uber and Lyft cars are everywhere Not Handicap Accessible - we are up two flights of outdoor stairs to enter the house, and bedrooms are up another flight of stairs. This house is not child-proofed so not suitable for children, there are floor to ceiling windows with no child guards.We do have a lovely doodle named Theodore. He is hypoallergenic and does not shed. He is kept in a separate yard and you won't be interacting with him unless you would like to of course!
