Make your home in our home, just steps from the University of Maryland. Your stay will be in the basement apartment of our home, with your own private entrance from the back of the house and down the exterior stairwell. The apartment includes one bedroom, a full kitchen, walk in closet with washer and dryer, one full and one half bath, and lots of space for relaxing or playing, depending on whatever you need while you're in town. We are .7 miles from UMD's SECU stadium - an easy walk to events.

Come to DC to work or play but stay here to relax. DC can be a busy, loud, fast-moving city at times, but the space we've cultivated here is a tranquil escape from the commotion without having to leave the city. This private 1 bedroom accessory dwelling unit has a full bathroom, full kitchen, laundry machines, desk/workspace, dining table, and small porch with table and chairs for a morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail surrounded by trees. Fully functional kitchen and bathroom with walk in shower. Mini fridge/freezer, conduction cook top stove, AC/Heat unit, hot water, and more!

Comfortable Studio Apartment

A cute studio apartment in the basement of a newly renovated home. Guests have a private entrance with their own private bathroom. You also have use of a full-size washer and dryer. Other amenities include an honor bar stocked with beer and wine, an arcade style game with over 200 popular titles including Ms. Pac Man, and coffee/tea. Please note that we live upstairs, but the space is private. It is separated by a stairwell and a locking door. It is comparable to a hotel room, but nicer.

Cozy basement unit minutes from Washington, D.C. or the University of Maryland. Within 10 minutes walk of restaurants, breweries, bike share, and rail station with direct access to Union Station. Five minute drive/ 20 minute walk to DC metro subway station. Excellent access to bike paths, plenty of on-street parking, quiet neighborhood. A big, fenced backyard with an outdoor table, a fire pit with wood supply, and hammock for good weather. Great base for visiting for D.C. or UMD.

Located in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood with tree-lined streets, within walking distance to restaurants, yoga studios, coffee shops and an organic coop.

Relax and enjoy your time in Washington, DC from our studio in the Fort Totten Neighborhood. Our space is private with a entrance from the backyard. There is free street parking near the premises. 15 min drive from downtown DC and great restaurants. If taking public transportation, the house is a 15 min walk from the Fort Totten metro and a bus stop a 1 min walk away. Only a 5 mins walk from Giant grocery store and fast food options.
