Just an hour from Chicago - 3 miles from a commuter rail stop - it's an ideal spot to unwind, reconnect with nature, and get a taste of farm life.

The 1842 Federal House offers this fully furnished & equipped 1 BR loft apartment, light filled living room, queen bedroom, private bath, full kitchen, private balcony w/ views of Galena. TV, high speed internet, all utilities paid. Fresh linens & towels weekly, free laundry in building. On site, off street parking. Outside relax on the front patio or the back garden. Excellent Bench Street location, next door to the Library & just steps from Galena's restaurants, shops, hiking & biking trails.

There are four bedrooms each with a full bath and their own unique style. A full kitchen, dining room, front room furnished with piano & base, side parlor, library, vault, front & back porch and many sitting areas available for your enjoyment. Just a 1/2 mile walk through a historic neighborhood to our beautiful downtown Galesburg.

Victory Reigns Ranch Horse Hotel and Bed and Breakfast boasts a beautiful ranch setting close to Deer Run Forest Preserve, Oak Ridge Forest Preserve and other equestrian trails. *Come with or without your horse. We also have an RV hookup if needed along with spacious trailer and RV parking. *If interested in horse boarding during your stay a 12 x 12 barn stall is $35 per night. Private pasture turn out available for $25 per horse per night. Trailer hook up is $35 per night per trailer.

This 1840's miner's cottage in the heart of Galena is only 3 blocks from beautiful, historic and fun Downtown Galena Main Street, but is far enough to have quiet times in the quarter acre yard of perennial gardens as well the expansive 2 story front porch, and 3rd porch off the kitchen, with gas grill. The house sits on a corner lot in the Galena National Historic District. The bathroom and kitchen are newly remodeled and the entire house is designer decorated. Beautiful!
