Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Located at 2nd Hand Ranch & Rescue, this tiny house in the timber was built to share the beauty of nature with folks that want to camp.... but not really camp. This 12x12 house is off grid with a cute outhouse nestled in the timber behind the wildlife rescue. Relax and unplug for the weekend and know 100% of the fee goes to the animal rescue. We bring your supplies up via Gator as you hike the trail up. PLEASE NOTE: NO RUNNING WATER/SHOWERS

Well kept private port-a-john outside cabin & outdoor shower is close by at north end of store (no toilet inside cabin) Bring bikes to ride the “Great River Trail”. Camp store & kayak/canoe rentals (through Oct 1st) on site! No pets No smoking please.

While our place truly is a tucked away secret sanctuary, we are also in a sweet spot of ULTRA CONVENIENCE. Wicker Park/Noble Square/West Town has many great bars & restaurants & is an amazing location for exploring the city. WALK to the action on Division St. or Chicago Ave, Chicago's upcoming gallery district. A 1/2 block to the 56 bus takes you to the Loop in 10 min, or to the heart of Wicker Park in 5. A 10 min walk to the BLUE LINE serving O'Hare & Downtown. And Divvy bikes 1/2 block away.

The Owl House

Lovely tiled walk in shower, washer dryer right in the place-- very nice full home. The Owl House has passable WiFi and no TV. It is a quiet , unique get-away set in mature woods ... ideal for writer's retreat, couples' get-away, and just relaxing… bird sounds in the morning Pricing is for 2 people and can take up to 4.

This solar powered school bus "Schoolie" tiny home is nestled under open skies, near the forest, with a lake front view, a full bed, kitchen with two burner stove & sink, & a cozy couch. Bliss in the heart of the Shawnee National Forest on Interwoven Permaculture Farm, in Lusk Wilderness. Enjoy star gazing, swimming, and campfires. The chorus of nature will lull you at night, & greet you in the morning. It's a beautiful place to wake up! With kitchen, AC/Heater, this is ultimate glamping!!!

Kate’s Cozy Camper

Hello and welcome! Welcome to our cozy camper. Glamp it up with us April through Mid-November! We are close to trails, vineyards, mead, and cider! We are walkable distance to Cobden, but with the seclusion of our woods and your own fire pit that leads directly to a disc-golf course. Cozy, peaceful, great affordable get away. December adventurous guests! We usually close down for winter but we are opening up for a lower rate! We will have heat and power but no water. Less glamp, more “camp.”

D&B's Fun on the Fox

Enjoy a little fun camping along the Fox River in Wedron. A fresh new camper with a boat ramp, firepit, concrete pad for parking on the scenic Fox River. The neighbor has a pontoon and may be able to take you on ride, canoe rental close, and a dock to fish off of. Bring the family and have some fun! There is even food and beverages within walking distance. We do require a minimum 2 nights on Weekends & Holidays. If the current weekend is open contact us about availability on a short stay.

Sneak away to the natural surroundings of Chestnut Valley Farm. 75 minutes south of Chicago, you'll stay in a cute Airstream on 56 acres of nature including a just-getting-started Chestnut Farm. Hike the trails. Bird watch. Do yoga on the deck by Waupecan Creek. Lay in a hammock. Visit the neighboring towns for dining, a brewery and quaint shops. Waupecan Valley is a convenient retreat from the hustle of the city where you can getaway, rejuvenate and reconnect with nature and each other.

Upon arrival you will make your way through gates to find yourself surrounded by completely fenced in beauty. You will find picturesque scenes from grazing horses and other farm animals to sunsets / sunrises and more. Enjoy the view from any of our outdoor seating. Outdoor games, board games, relaxing by the fire, and visiting our farm friends are a few of the things that will be sure to keep you busy during your stay. Leave feeling rejuvenated from the peace of the country.

Urban Camper for 2 on Spacious Downtown Property

Enjoy an urban, private camp trailer situated on our home's property near downtown Urbana. Accommodations include: king-sized mattress, blackout curtains; a cozy kitchen nook w/a table that converts to a toddler bed for a little kid; COMPOSTABLE toilet; fully functioning indoor shower. With an independent AC system, the camper stays cool in the summer thanks to solar panels on the roof. It's complete with a kitchen: 2-burner gas stove top and mini refrigerator, NO FREEZER, only.

Away at the Ridge, Peaceful Camper next to the SNF

Our little camp site sets right next to the Shawnee National Forest on our farm. The camper is right in the middle of major sites around the area. A nice peaceful area 1/8th of a mile off the River to River Trail, 1 mile from Rim Rock, 2 miles from Pounds Hollow, 5 miles from Garden of the Gods.
