Nestled in the rolling hills of northeast Iowa in the quiet village of St. Donatus, the Gehlen House offers year-round accommodations for calming getaways and/or family fun. The property is on the National Register of Historical Places. Diekirch is one of six private bedrooms with shared kitchen and living room space. Guests can book single rooms or the whole house. The Decker House B&B -Tulip Room

The Tulip room is located on the second floor of the historic Decker House B&B. The room welcomes you with a Queen size bed and a large marble sink and vanity with a private bath and shower in the hall. The guest bathroom is used only by the occupants of this room. Your stay includes a generous, satisfying homemade breakfast and a never ending cookie jar. The Decker House is located in historic downtown Mason City and within walking distance of restaurants, museums, and shopping.

Come enjoy a relaxing get away on beautiful Sugar Bottom Road. A great place for the outdoor enthusiast, no matter the season. Ideal also for quiet relaxation and privacy. We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.
