You won’t forget this memorable experience! A 1974 River Boat has been lovingly transformed in to a whimsical all season cabin. Come for the fantasy then bask in the comfort and romance of it. Luxurious amenities include everything but the kitchen sink..literally! A perk to no running water is that I do your dishes at my place while you relax! Cozy, bright, yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, library, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, no shower or wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Tastefully decorated in barn board and v-joint pine inside, it features 7 cu. ft. fridge, large air circulator, kitchen cart, microwave, bbq, coffee maker, etc. It has a wardrobe, loveseat, end table and dining table for two. The queen bed is up the ladder in the loft. Great view onto Lake Mazinaw. Use of dock, deck, stand up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks, canoe, Aqua Cycle and pedal boats. Minimum 3 night booking on long weekends.

Looking to escape the hustle & bustle of everyday life? The Cave offers a secluded & private getaway on the beautiful Georgia Lake. We are a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom & 9 bed cottage functional all year round. We are 15 min. from Bon Echo park, 20 min. from Malcolm lake which has amazing ice fishing and less than 2 min. from Marble Lake Public beach. The Woodland Escape

Step back in time. Experience living in a one room cabin heated by a wood stove and lit by candles and lanterns. Your bathroom is an outhouse. There is no running water or electricity. You can ski, snowshoe or hike on the 40 acre property. Also, within minutes of the cabin are numerous trail systems, lakes and beaches. This Campsite is situated on the Moira River between Tweed and Madoc. It is on my 4 acres of property and my house is in within site depending on where you set up. I have a canoe that is available for use to explore the semiprivate river. The campsite has the cleanest outhouse and a outdoor shower with hot water.
