Come escape the crowds and wind, reset & reconnect with Mother Nature in a serene coastal old growth forest glamping retreat. Relax around a crackling Bon Fire underneath the starry sky with your journal or favorite book. Enjoy a peaceful nights sleep nestled in the warmth of a yurt tent tucked in a large cozy bed with the sounds of our creek, birds & faint sounds of the ocean. A short jaunt to the beach makes for the best sunsets & morning strolls with breathtaking views of volcanos & sea.

Grouse Lake Campground is uniquely situated along Grouse Lake at the edge of Chugach National Forest. This is a WALK-IN, TENT-ONLY campground with parking at the entrance. Each site has a beautiful view of the lake to watch the wildlife such as the occasional ducks, beavers, and land otters. Chugach National Forest is aTemporate Rainforest. And, although we do have many sunny days, be prepared for rain. This is our largest campsight with room enough for three 5 person tents, or one larger tent.

WildFowlers Inn Tented Camp

Budget accommodations with a million dollar view. 12 x 12' canvas wall tent on a platform with traditional Alaskan wood fired sauna (steam bath) for bathing and out house near by. On the shore of the beautiful Lake Clark. Pickup and drop off at the airport included Queen bed Micro-wave Coffee maker Electric kettle Wood stove Potable water provided Grill with side burner We have bear spray to loan for your hikes We can light the Sauna or wood stove for you if needed. Spenard Basecamp

Cozy up in our backyard canvas tent for an urban camping experience 7 minutes from the airport! The tent has two twin memory foam mattresses, electricity, and a heater keeps it warm. Enjoy Kaladi's coffee, tea, and smore's. Relax in comfortable chairs overlooking our garden or gather around the fire pit. You’ll hear city sounds around you and floatplanes overhead. We’re directly beneath the world’s biggest float plane track, so planes taking off and landing are part of the experience!

Stay in one of our 3 semi-private campground huts at the edge of Port Alsworth. Located on 40 acres of old growth forest, Tulch'ina Adventures camping huts provide a relaxing experience in nature. Listen to the sounds of the adjacent creek and the birds singing while you relax in one of our bug proof hut shelters. Coming back from the back country? Enjoy a hot shower and a dry shelter to hang your gear before packing up for your international flight.

Tent Camping Among the Wildlife

Witness nature in its natural habitat from birds to bears to moose to native wildflowers. We have the ultimate Alaskan experience! We are are short stroll to the Eagle River Nature Center trail system and the Crow’s Pass trail system too! Along with hiking right behind the tent in the Chugach Mountain National Park System to see waterfalls and streams.

Come stay at the Gnome Dome! Located conveniently off Resurrection Road. This spacious bell tent sleeps 4. Just B.Y.O.B. (Bring your own sleeping Bag) Or we have sleeping bags to rent. We have an outdoor firepit, camp chairs, and space to enjoy our neck of the woods.

Shack In The Woods Lodge #8 Tent

This Large Tent and our beautiful scenic view of the mountains. Our tent #8 has a comfy King Bed, Night Stand with Lamp/phone charger. The Screen area of Tent has 2 Chairs. 3rd guest can be added with a cot for an extra charge.
