Feel free to take a walk down to the river at the bottom of our property. There you will find a park like setting where you can relax and listen to nature if you like. The America Room is named after America Dickinson, the sister of Thomas Childs Dickinson who first bought the house. A cozy retreat, we've decorated the America Room in patriotic red, white, and blue, along with some period antiques. The handmade heirloom quilt graces a queen-size bed. Built as a bed and breakfast history suggests Abraham Lincoln stayed in the home once upon a time. The underground railroad stopped here, marked by the now 200 year old towering Oak tree.
