Slipper Rock Cabin

Called “Slipper Rock” in memory of Bessie Lakes, an elderly lady that lived on farm many years ago. She could be heard laughing while playing in the stream that runs by the cabin. She called the stream “Slipper Rock”. The newly built cabin sits on 15 acres. Numerous hiking trails & horseback riding trails. Some trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. Bring your own horses. Relax sitting on porch, by fire pit or on rocks by stream. Nothing prettier than the night sky. Hope to see you all soon.

Our cozy Riverside Cabin is a place of peace, 15 minutes from downtown Bowling Green. Our retreat is located uniquely, between the beautiful Barren & Gasper Rivers. This is a unique, unplugged experience for a romantic get-away. We don't have WiFi, and cell service is sparse. We are located between Nashville (45min), Bowling Green (35min) and Mammoth Cave (55 min).

Easy access to I-64, I-75, and Mountain Parkway - gateway to Appalachia.

The closest neighbors are 3 friendly donkeys that love to greet guests at the fence for attention and ear rubs. Fishing poles and donkey treats are provided to round out your stay. We're 20 scenic minutes to Slade or Stanton and 25 to Mount Sterling.
