The Quail's Nest

"The Quail's Nest” is a Farm Style home with modern amenities and comfort. The ‘Nest’ is 3 bedroom - 2 full baths, home nestled in the hills only 3.4 miles from the entrance to the Sequoia National Park! Created and hosted by an experienced local team. From the furnishings to the cleanliness and the personal touches throughout the home, we will take good care of you. The 'Nest' is a beautiful charming place, located above the Kaweah River with breathtaking views. The home features a new kitchen with everything you will need to cook, for those who enjoy cooking. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, spices, blender and a toaster, everything you would need to prepare meals in-house for those who love to cook. We also provide you with coffee and assorted teas, along with a few complimentary goodies. As your host, I also provide you with plenty of local information and tips including where to go if you just prefer dining out. Virtually, everything inside the home is new right down to the towels and silverware. The bathrooms are always clean. We provide you with plenty of fresh, clean towels. We also supply shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The beds are all new, top of the line queen size and include all new linens. These beds are comfortable! We use hypoallergenic pillow and bed protectors for your safety and comfort. The couches, and the dining room table for 6, are very comfortable as well. Yes, there is a large HD-tv with very good Wi-Fi; good enough to stream movies 24/7 so we also include free Netflix for you. During your stay you will have complete access to the home and privacy as well. If you have any questions or need anything I am available 24/7 however, it is not mandatory that we meet. Most people just want privacy and of course a clean and comfortable stay. WE GIVE YOU THAT! COME STAY AT THE 'NEST'. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

You will find a beautiful trail that lead you to our picturesque river with endless boulders! There you will find two large decks. The home gives you amazing sunrises and sunsets. Our hope is that you love all part of your stay from the quiet stillness of the trees, to animals/bird watching, to enjoying and playing in the river and stargazing at the open sky

Our property is great for the hiking, bird watching, swimming, or fishing enthusiast! A map of the land and its features will be provided upon arrival.

This property is 1 mile up a dirt road. The road can be steep and bumpy in places . We have had over 1200 people up here with no problems. This is just a disclaimer, so you are aware before you book. Bright and roomy newer 34 foot fifth wheel with four slides that sleeps 4 comfortably. Full-size kitchen as well as bbq area. Propane fire pit set up to take in the great views, or stargaze. Quiet and secluded with beautiful views of Lake Isabella. Minutes away from mountains, lake, and river.

Enjoy anniversaries, friend trips and family time away from the city. If you decide to leave the tranquility of our pond, you can visit Lake Kaweah, Three Rivers, Sequoia or Kings Canyon National Park.
