Private Ballard Backyard Cottage with Natural Light

Escape the bustle of the city and relax in a cozy backyard sanctuary. Sample local craft beer in an Adirondack chair in the garden. Watch a widescreen TV from the bed and make coffee in the morning. This adorable cottage comes complete with queen bed, hardwood flooring, kitchenette with Farmhouse sink, kitchen island, fridge freezer, Kuerig coffee maker, toaster, slow cooker, and induction hot plate. With a 50 gallon water heater there will be enough hot water for all your needs. The high end bathroom is completed with a Kohler sink, toilet and hardware. There is also a closet to hang and store clothes and bags. The cottage is heated via high efficiency electric infra red heaters mounted on the ceiling. There is also a whole house ventilation system to keep the air fresh throughout the year (the switch to turn hi/low or on/off is inside the closet). Cable TV, wifi and a DVD player are also available. Amazon and Netflix are included on the smart TV for your use with your own passwords. Free parking is available on the street in front of the Cottage/Main house. The Cottage is a short walk via a gravel pathway to the right of the main house towards the back of the property. Guests are welcome to use the patio seating area outside the Cottage, which includes Adirondack chairs, picnic table, and a Weber grill. We welcome contact via email, text or cell at anytime before or during your stay to answer any questions you may have. During your stay, we like to leave the personal interaction guest dependent. We value your privacy and would love to give you a friendly welcome greeting if we pass. However, we are always available and more than happy to chat, just let us know. The Seattle neighborhood of Ballard has many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a cinema, bakeries, and quirky stores. The Sunday market is a must. Golden Gardens Beach, the Ballard Locks, and the Nordic Heritage Museum are all close by. The Cottage is around a 20 min drive to Downtown Seattle. One block from the Cottage you can catch the #40 bus to Downtown Seattle, Fremont, and South Lake Union. Uber and Lyft are readily available in this neighborhood. Grant and Bev are garden lovers, whether it's pottering in the garden, BBQ'ing outside the main house or just chilling. Our kids are also outdoor enthusiasts so will be in and out the garden space around the main house. There is also a store room built at the back of the Cottage with access only from the garden that we use time to time. We respect your privacy and space. The patio area outside the Cottage is for your exclusive use.

Hummingbird Cottage in Quiet Residential Arbor Heights

We are 20 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from downtown with easy access to the beaches at Alki and Lincoln Park. Your quiet backyard refuge is newly remodeled with everything you’ll need for a weekend or a month. We are just a half block from the bus stop and access to Seattle’s great transit system. Whether you’re here for Business, visiting family, or on holiday, Hummingbird cottage should fill the bill. You have off street parking and the entire space to yourself, with laundry facilities and a full kitchen at your disposal. If you need a highchair or pack-n-play crib for your little one just let us know. I’ll be here to greet you (unless you come in very late), in which case I’ll give you the code for our August Bluetooth lock to get in when you arrive. We’re only 50 feet away if you need us but will give you your space if you don’t. Arbor Heights is a tranquil neighborhood halfway between the airport and downtown, plus only a few minutes from grocery stores, restaurants. and parks with amazing views. Alki and Lincoln Park beaches are also easily accessible. Seattle is a good city to get around in by car but if you’re going downtown you might want to leave the car and catch the 21 bus to save the parking hassle and cost.

A light-filled updated eat-in kitchen with Ikea cabinetry and dishwasher is fun to make meals or snacks. Very cozy living room has a peek view of the seasonal pond through white curtains, and inviting seating. You will find a white cubby cabinet desk for your computer time. Private Garden Cottage

The cottage is a private, self-contained unit, featuring a well-stocked kitchenette, tiled shower, bedroom loft with french doors opening onto a deck, flat screen TV, DVD player, wifi, Bluetooth wireless speaker, and off street parking. Dog weight limit 25 pounds. Noise may be an issue for some due to airplanes. Stairs to the loft are steep. We are also located on a steep hill. We provide coffee/tea, juice, and some snacks. Everyone is welcome here.

Our cozy Spanish inspired bungalow with vaulted ceilings, loft, and fireplace is located in the quintessential Seattle neighborhood of Montlake. The neighborhood is a quiet retreat within the urban heart of Seattle. It is literally next door to the University of Washington (Husky Stadium), steps away from Lake Washington and the Arboretum water front trails, and 10 min from downtown Seattle by car, the LINK light rail, or bus. Easy FIFA access!

Stay in a cozy cabin alongside the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River. Enjoy sweet private lookout spot, fire pit and beautiful mountain views. There is a park by a small lake adjacent to our property with a path that goes between the lake and the river with lots of river access. Hiking trails are all around within walking and short driving distances. Shared bathroom/shower outdoors/enclosed. NO DOGS, no children
