Located on a bend in the river you will feel surrounded by tranquil natural beauty. The entire front of the house is windows, looking out at the river. The house has been newly built with all of the creature comforts and a very well appointed kitchen. The hot tub , located outside on the deck is the icing on the cake. This is a perfect getaway for up to 6 people. In the summer you can swim right off the end of the dock on the property. There is also good bass and pickerel fishing in the river.

The Escape Pod|No Neighbours|Pet Friendly|Drive to

This cabin site is tucked into the forest at the base of the Deacon Escarpment with a view of the Bonnechere Valley Hills. It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. There is a picnic table, firepit, outdoor gazebo bar, seasonal outdoor shower and private outhouse. The cabin comes with a map of 30km of trails for you to hike or snowshoe. No neighbours within 500m in any direction. Possibility of occasional guest cars going past.

The cabin is fully equipped with all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. With 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch, the cabin can accommodate up to 6 guests. The cabin features infloor heating and a woodstove to keep you warm and cozy. We have a full-size hot tub and a wood fired sauna!

The Woodland Escape

Step back in time. Experience living in a one room cabin heated by a wood stove and lit by candles and lanterns. Your bathroom is an outhouse. There is no running water or electricity. You can ski, snowshoe or hike on the 40 acre property. Also, within minutes of the cabin are numerous trail systems, lakes and beaches. Very private, solar powered, gas cooking, outhouse, fishing, canoe/ kayaking, swimming, train tracks about 3/4 of mile away, so you might hear that lonesome whistle blow.Fire wood and propane are provided..there is no running water therefore no shower...and its suggested that you bring your your own bedding and pillows
