The cottage is ~20 min from downtown Kansas City and 15 min from Kaufman and Arrowhead Stadium. This newly renovated 1900s milk barn is unique and special with a lot of charm, with a few of the modern conveniences. Truly one of a kind Historic property converted into a spacious, cozy loft in the heart of South KC. This 100-year-old space(5 min from HS Truman farm. He spoke on this stage on his first political campaign) has been completely rennovated with concrete countertops, beautifully vaulted ceilings, huge bathroom, built in workspace and even a fun kid's room. GORGEOUS/CHIC w/ 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms! Less than a mile to downtown LS. Easy highway access to all KC metro attractions within less than 30 minutes away! Absolutely NO drugs, parties, couch sleeping, pets, big rig parking or smoking/vaping inside allowed & if so booking will be forfeited. Drop in guests are only permitted with permission. The kitchen sink backs up a bit when doing laundry upstairs, but NOT an issue & only done during day hours.

The cottage has a 1 queen size bed and a mattress in the loft . Please note: we do live on this property and the cottage is next to our main house. We have friendly outdoor cats they do freely roam the property.

Guests love the convenience and ease of this modern studio suite w/ separate entrance, privacy gate & parking! Has own heating unit & A/C so you can control the temperature to your liking. This walk-out suite is located on the corner of our house, there's a bedroom above it, so you may hear occasional footsteps, sound generally hasn’t been a problem for any guests that have stayed here.

5 minute walk to downtown Lee's Summit! My place is close to great restaurants, coffee shops, family-friendly activities, shopping, bars and a whole slew of entertainment. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). A park is directly across the street as well:)
