River Stone Hollow

River Stone Hollow, hosted by Kara IS pet friendly!! It is total serenity situated directly on the Pomperaug River in Southbury. Right in the backyard you are able to read a book in a hammock, grill out and eat outdoors, make a campfire or enjoy some fishing and swimming. Inside it is a cozy cabin with comfortable beds, entertainment via TV/WiFi/DVD. There is a fully stocked kitchen, breakfast nook and the bathroom has a full size shower/tub and washer and dryer.

The Cove Cabin

An original Candlewood style cabin. The house has been updated to offer all modern comforts. It features a large fireplace in the living room, porch over looking the lake, central heat and air conditioning and a fully equipped cook's kitchen. It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A foam lily pad, two SUP, and two inflatable two person kayaks are available for use from May 1 to November 1..

Enjoy the canoe and fish in our private pond (carp & bass) Lots of hiking trails nearby and great restaurants. 20 mins. from Harlem-Valley Wingdale train station. Car is highly recommended as taxi service is limited.
