Whip up a light lunch in the farmhouse-style kitchen, then head out to the picnic area for a leisurely afternoon in the sun. Overlook the tranquil pond from this welcoming, wooden retreat with patterned Italian tiles and grand cathedral ceilings. The space is cozy with a mix of finishes. A bit of rustic and a bit of classic. Out the back , overlooking the field is a patio space that is accessible for your use, weather permitting. We have snacks and basics for meal preparation. Breakfast stuff such as eggs, muffins, and oatmeal. The kitchen is stocked for guest use. You're welcome to enjoy the pond and picnic area. There are plenty of good restaurants in the surrounding area, from bar food to fine dining. Hiking in the Catskills is abundant, with routes of differing ranges of difficulty. Summer brings festivals, while winter brings snow activities. There's a bus stop in Woodstock if you don't drive and taxi service from there. It's fine if you plan to stay in, but if you want to get around to other places it's best to drive. We have a several flyers and local magazines in the foyer for ideas on where to go and what to see. On the door are the basic guidelines and on the desk is a binder of information on local restaurants, stores, ect... If you need other resources please feel free to ask. Located in a nice and quiet tree lined neighborhood. It's located right off Sanford blvd which has all the local shops. Which includes Stop & Shop, Target, CVS, Burger King, McDonald's and KFC just to name a few. Some of the amenities available are Smart Tv,WiFi, work station,coffee maker, cookware and utensils, iron, ironing board and hair dryer just to name a few. There's also plenty of parking. It's also a 15 min walk to metro north Station, you can be in the NYC in 25-30min.

Rental is located next to a busy road , if you are not comfortable with some traffic at certain times of the day then this may not be for you I would also note that this home is small inside but very comfortable . There is a cozy yard to relax in next to a fire pit and a table and chairs if you would like to eat outside. I will provide firewood for one night, and charcoal for grill for one night as well. Located 1/4 mile from home is a local place to purchase extra wood .
