Our home features a huge deck facing the lake, perfect for relaxing. The remodeled home features new furniture and appliances, memory foam beds, a full kitchen, and a coffee bar for your comfort. Welcome! We want to share a bit of history with you! Enjoy a once in a lifetime experience staying at this unique & intricate beautiful 1890’s home. In the 1890’s Charles Ginocchio, owner of the Ginocchio Hotel and the Ginocchio home, had this home built by C. G. Lancaster for Emile Meyers, who operated a saloon in the hotel. Emile, an immigrant from Alsace-Lorraine continued to work at the hotel for many years. During the prohibition era, he converted the saloon into a soda fountain.

We are just 4 miles south of I-20, and an hour and fifteen minutes in either direction from Dallas and Shreveport. Surrounded by evergreen forest, two creeks, and plenty of wildlife - Cana Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage sits about 200 feet from our main home.
