Mr. Jefferson 's Suite - The Inn and Tavern at Meander

President Jefferson stayed here many times and was a lifelong friend of our original Colonial family. We are sure this would have been his room on visits. This expansive upstairs suite has a private staircase and features two queen-size beds, antiques, refinished original pine floors, wing back chairs, an Oriental rug and an adjacent sitting area with in-room Wi-Fi. The en suite bathroom is but a few steps from the bedroom and features a soaking tub and shower. The upstairs porch is only steps away, offering spectacular mountain views and fantastic sunsets.

The Lightfoot Room - The Inn and Tavern at Meander

The Lightfoot Room is an elegant, large downstairs room in the Manor House with a private outside entrance overlooking the gardens and fountain, and offers in room Wi-Fi. Named for owners of the property during the Civil War, Lightfoot has gleaming heart pine floors, antiques, wing back chairs, corner gas log fireplace and king bed with luxurious linens in beautiful shades of an updated green toile, giving nod to the age of the 1766 house with bright, large windows. Colonel Fry 's Suite - The Inn and Tavern at Meander

This elegantly furnished Master suite is decorated in greens with crisp white trim. The carved four-poster queen-size bed is dressed with designer covers and luxurious 600-thread count sheets. Heart-of-pine floors have been lovingly refinished and a beautiful colonial fireplace with gas logs adds warmth and ambiance. Large private bath, in room Wi-Fi.
