Roaring Fork Chalet Long Range Views Mt Mitchell

The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views as the chalet elevation is 3,383 feet (Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink and rejuvenate your soul. NO four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet EXCEPT possibly in the winter months. The mountain roads are curvy and the subdivision is steep in parts but ALL the roads are paved and well maintained. Dog accepted w/ prior approval (fee applies).

This is a covered camping platform (16x24) with truly amazing views both near and far. It is built among the trees and mountain laurel. Your car is a short distance from the deck. Electricity for fans, mattress inflators, or other plug ins. Lights makes after dark flashlight free. Your private and weekly cleaned portajohn is nearby. I provide table, chairs, cleanings supplies, solar shower (needs warm sun) and fresh water . Safe for dogs and kids. Quite, private place.

Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful setting. Close to nature & many trails (waterfalls & mountain tops). Great stars at night. Deck, screened porch, gas log fireplace, satellite tv, wi-fi, and a finished basement with laundry and separate entrance. 30 minutes from Sugar mtn skiing.
