The Heron Cottage was built in 1914 and was part of a network of small farms that existed in what was then the hinderlands of Portland. Now it's an urban vest pocket neighborhood with easy access to a regional hospital, light rail, bus routes and freeways. This is a pedestrian neighborhood with very narrow streets. We know our neighbors and enjoy the cultural diversity of this little enclave. The cottage's front porch beckons you to slow down, relax and maybe even make some new friends.

You’ll love our location because of the proximity to parks, downtown Portland, and the coast. Our little home has all you'll need for a great stay: comfortable beds (Two Queen-size beds), kitchen and laundry facilities, local air TV, and Wi-Fi. Our place is good for couples, business travelers, and families.

The wet bar features a mini fridge, sink and Keurig Coffee maker. The bedroom has 1 queen sized bed with hotel luxury 1800 bedding sheets, a dresser, full length mirror and natural light window. Our house is centrally located with dozens of restaurants, bars and coffee shops just a short walk away!

Great public transportation: 2 frequent bus lines within 1.5 blocks. By car, 15 minutes to downtown Portland, 30 minutes to Multnomah Falls, and 1 hour to Mt Hood skiing!
