We offer a double , fresh and bright bedroom in our family home in a very quiet area of Penicuik. Perfect starting point for exploring Edinburgh or the country side as we offer free parking with bus stop on the door step. We have a big garden plus a huge grass area in front of our house and happily host kids or dogs or both. PLEASE BE AWARE : the car park is about 50m away from the entrance to the room. The room is not suitable for wheel chairs . Note that there is a £10 charge for dogs.

Loanhead is a small town located on the outskirts of Edinburgh. It is quiet, friendly, with parklands/countryside to the south and the city of Edinburgh to the north. This is a perfect spot for people who enjoy peace and quiet as opposed to the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a large commercial centre in town with plenty shops and amenities. It will take you around 10-15 minutes to walk there or you can take the bus. Buses to Edinburgh are frequent, running every 15 minutes.

Cozy mid terrace bungalow on the outskirts of Edinburgh in a very quiet area. 1 king size bedroom with a sofa bed in the lounge. Located just a few miles from Edinburgh city centre. Great bus service. Uber also. Living room and kitchen with appliances , one toilet with front and back garden. Visit Edinburgh and stay just outside the city boundary for excellent value, still with great access to local restaurants, takeaways and bars. Close to Bush Estate and Airport (via taxi).

Loanhead (pop. 6,900) is a small town in Midlothian, Scotland, in a commuter belt to the south of Edinburgh, and close to Roslin, Bonnyrigg and Dalkeith. The town was built on coal and oil shale mining, and the paper industries. I have had my house now for 2 year and live alone but have 2 bedrooms so decided to give AirBnB a go. Loanhead has frequent buses to Edinburgh, normally every 20 minutes. The trip takes around 45 to the centre. The lounge/kitchen isn't shared areas.

Generally the house is quiet so it is a good place to rest after a busy day sightseeing in Edinburgh. Edinburgh is very busy so staying on the Outskirts (6 miles) of Edinburgh means a quieter nights sleep without interruptions. We are up early for school and work but are very quiet.

This double bedroom with ensuite (private bathroom) is facing the front of the property. This room has a large window that provides lots of natural light but there is a roller blind if you prefer the room to be darker. The bedroom has a keypad/lock to enter the room.

Quiet single room in family home in Penicuik. Just 10 miles south of Edinburgh with excellent bus connection into the city centre. We are a very short journey away from the Pentlands National Park and about 10 min away from Roslin with its famous Chapel.
