Amazing views of Lake Superior! Hungry Hippie Hostel now has Glamping! Our OG canvas wall tents are waterproof, super cozy and includes: the 8'x16' tent, decking (with screened in porch), comfy mattress and breathtaking views of Lake Superior. Also included- a campfire ring + picnic table at each of our glamping sites. Tents are located within 200 feet of our brand new shower house. The shower house is divided into mens & womens spaces. Each space having two showers, three toilets and two sinks.

Meadowview

This is a cozy, rustic camper with a focus on enjoying the outdoors. Electricity is available for a microwave, coffee maker, and other small plug-in items through a surge-protected power connection. A cooler is provided instead of a refrigerator. The toilet and kitchen sink are working. The camper shower is unavailable, but an outdoor shower is provided. The deck, fire pit, shade sails, and peaceful outdoor setting are an important part of the experience. Please read more in “Other details”

I include two kayaks, a canoe & a paddle boat to explore the lake! This 5 acre piece of heaven on Shell lake is conveniently located between Detroit Lakes & Park Rapids.

Art Camp

Welcome to Art Camp. Art camp is a Bell Tent hosted by ceramic artist Ani Kasten at her homestead and ceramics studio. Offering a unique, comfortable and inspiring respite, surrounded by nature and art, Art Camp was created to meld enjoyment of the outdoors with art and creativity. Fun fact – this property was the original location for Franconia Sculpture Park, which is now located just a mile to the west on Hwy 8. You’ll still spot remaining sculptures and equipment from that time.

Yurt-Style Tent at Stone Creek Farm

1 of 4 campsites on the farm, this yurt-style tent has all you need to enjoy camping without the work! The campsite includes a picnic table, BBQ grill and fire pit. There is a self composting toilet on site. Camp carts available to bring gear out. Drinking water is available from the hose out by the high tunnel. It is about a quarter mile walk to the site. Glamping on Nest Lake

Our camper on Nest Lake near Spicer has the basics for camping comfortably! The camper has a bedroom with queen size bed and a bunk room with 2 queen size bunks. The couch also folds down and the dinette can be converted to a bed. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and basic cookware. Camper has a shower, air conditioning, and a fireplace.
