Carmel By the Canyon

Our studio is located in Carmel, less than a mile from the town center. The house faces out over Hatton Canyon and affords a private rural setting yet close to Big Sur, Pebble Beach, Monterey, etc. 15 Minute walk to Carmel downtown. A hub to explore Big Sur and all the Monterey Peninsula has to offer. Due to certain regulatory changes regarding minimum stay, the dates you are requesting may not be available. While we prefer longer stays, do make an inquiry to us about the dates you want.

Tiny, quaint Cottage sequestered in a Redwood forest. Outdoor Clawfoot Bathtub with Shower under the Stars overlooking a Spring fed creek ! Mature Pond & Marina with sitting areas with Koi and Turtles ! Solar powered lights come on at night! Lighting at the Cottage is Electric, Solar and Battery powered. Lanterns are provided ! There is a Cell Phone & device Charging Station available. No Kitchen or cooking facilities. Summit Market, four miles away, open 7 days a week, hours are 7am to 7pm.

Great S. Salinas neighborhood within walking distance to Old Town. In Old Town you will find great restaurants, places to get a drink, nightlife, and movie theater. Centrally located, 100 miles to San Francisco, 15 miles to Monterey Peninsula (Fisherman's Wharf, Aquarium, Pacific Grove, & Carmel). The unit is brand new. Cozy, sunny, and spacious, with lots of privacy. There is a Microwave, Keurig, and mini-fridge (no freezer) available for use. There is NO stove, oven, or air-conditioning.

Close to The Monterey Bay Aquarium , art and culture, restaurants and dining and the beach. You’ll love my place because it's a detached new unit, clean and on the Monterey Peninsula. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families with kids, and pets (Dogs only please). We consider Dogs to be part of the Family so If you would like to bring your dog (2 max), please add them as a guest. That will cover the added expense in the cleaning of the Bungalow.

Your new weekend retreat! The Cottage is situated on unique forest-farm acreage across the street from Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, surrounded by redwood fairy circles and a beautiful stream. Charming, private, and yet handily walkable/drivable to parks surrounding the town of Felton and the Santa Cruz Mountain area. About 1 hour south of San Francisco, we're a quick 14 minute drive down picturesque Highway 9 to downtown Santa Cruz and it's popular beaches and Boardwalk.

AS OF JANUARY 1 2026 the PEBBLE BEACH COMPANY will greatly restrict SHORT TERM RENTALS. From what I understand we will be able to rent our guest house short term up to 3 times a year .
