If you're a writer, an artist, or you're engaged with any creative form, you will love the quiet environs we offer. Personally, I am a writer and editor, and this is my haven when I am in Jorhat. My parents live next door in their bungalow. The gated community, christened Topuban, was purchased by my maternal grandparents in the late 1950s. Each of their children inherited plots of land. My parents are one of only two households, of the original family, that now live here permanently.
