Designed to sleep 12, there's plenty of room for everyone! All 3 FULL bathrooms are equipped with shampoo/conditioner, body wash, soap, a hairdryer, towels (including makeup towel) to ensure everyone stays refreshed. Beach gear, WiFi, community pool and washer/dryer are just a few of the MANY amenities provided. The Chubby Mermaid is family/kid-friendly.

KDH Hideaway-Walk to Beach, Dining, Nature Trails

Tucked in a quiet west-side neighborhood, this charming townhome is your perfect Outer Banks escape—just a short walk to the beach, great Kill Devil Hills restaurants, shops, and scenic Nags Head Woods trails. Relax in the private backyard oasis with a pergola, café lights, gas grill, Adirondack chairs, and a hammock—perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks. The beach is an easy 8–9 minute walk (about 0.5 miles), and the nature trails of Nags Head Woods are just under a mile to the west.

Easy walk to the beach in 10 minutes or drive in 2 minutes & park in community parking right at beach access.

The Cypress Moon Inn is on the Shore of The Albemarle Sound. The Guest Rooms are Waterfront with a spectacular view to the West over the water. We serve a Continental Breakfast and our guests may use our bicycles,kayaks, paddleboard and beach equipment. We are in a natural quiet safe setting with no immediate neighbors. The Inn is of quality construction and with substantial furnishings. The Inn is 1.5 miles from the beach. We are non smoking. We cannot accept young children or pets.

Imagine sitting and relaxing while watching the crab and shrimp fisherman come in and out of the canal. A bountiful breakfast is served daily at the inn and is included. The house is furnished with all linens, towels, cookware and Keurig. Kayaks and bikes are available. As much as we love them, no animals are allowed.

Just like the name implies, you can relax and recharge in my Green Room.
