Die-for deck in the trees, fishing and wilderness type kayaking (provided) from garden. Kids adore it, parents too. Sit around a fire by the river cooking snags under the stars and listening to the mullet splashing. Maybe the kids have a line in the river (fishing gear provided). Noosa so near. Mirembe Cottage: 45 acres of peace

Mirembe is a Ugandan word meaning peace and tranquillity; this perfectly describes our 45 acre property. The cottage is privately set on the edge of our forest: Sit on the verandah watching the kangaroos, search the trees for koalas; at night look to the sky to see the million stars, fireflies in the creek or into the firepit flames. Take a stroll through our private trails: Nature surrounds you. Breakfast food supplied, and a few locally made frozen dinners in the freezer- but not free.

Take a break from your busy city life and come and enjoy the country. This cabin is located on the edge of the Eumundi Conservation Park, a place where you can enjoy a bush walk or a lazy bike ride. This eco friendly cabin is fully off the grid with solar power, tank water and even a septic tank. Our property is a horse agistment property with 3 goats and a miniature pony called Jerry. We are only 15min to Coolum Beach, 10min to Yandina and 25min to Noosa, accommodating 2 cabins.

Adorable Doonan hide away

The hide away is nestled amongst silver gums and other native flora situated on our 3-acre property which backs onto a nature reserve. This means there is ample opportunity to spot our local wildlife residents undisturbed such as parrots, frogs, echidnas, kangaroos and possums. This private retreat is ideal for those who want the calm and serenity of the bush and fresh air while also being a close drive or bike ride to Peregian beach, Eumundi and Noosa on the Sunshine Coast.

Just a 15-minute drive to Noosa or 5 minutes to beautiful Peregian Beach. Enjoy a unique experience in a newly built, well equipped, one-bedroom cottage situated in the stunning Noosa Hinterland. Just 20 minutes from Noosa Main Beach, ‘Bimbimbie Cottage’ is on acreage and overlooks Lake MacDonald. Unfortunately the lake level has been lowered to upgrade the wall so there is minimal water in front at present. This is a perfect romantic or recharge getaway to enjoy peace and quiet, unspoilt nature, and picturesque sunsets.
