Seafront Cottage near Sintra

Breathe the salty air over alfresco dinners at the water's edge at a restored 1940 retreat with 360-degree views. Nestled in 40,000 square meters of grounds, this homey heaven combines nautical accents with smooth stone and chunky wooden furniture. Surf Rental complete equipment is possible or surf lessons, by previous appointment. An electric car or a 9 seat Van VW Caravelle is available for rental by request, with excellent conditions, pick up in Sintra or at Lisbon airport. Very cosy and warm with a lightfire in the living room. The house has one small bedroom with a double bed and other room "Kind of a boat" with a 3 store bed (sleep 4 children). The outside of this house include an exterior shower (hot/cold water), a barbecue, a small tank and and a big table. The 40.000 m2 property has a bigger house just behind (http://abnb.me/EVmg/X5OG5cFJTE), but the outside spaces are totally independent. There is also a shed with good shade for the cars. Go from sintra about 12 km to Magoito beach (Praia do Magoito). When you arrive in Magoito go all the way down to the beach and pass the fortress by the sea. Turn right and you will see the last two white houses. You're there! All the information for an unforgettable stay at the magoito seacliff houses; places to visit, restaurants, sugestions etc. When required, we can make it happen! A personalized special fishing and surfing tour, only for wild, top and "out of the box " adventures. We can also provide surfing equipment and drive you on a Jeep if it pleases you (fee 100eur/day/guest) Experience the beauty and wildness of this place, surrounded by wild beaches and just 12 km from historic, picturesque Sintra. The property is located at an excellent fishing point called Ponta do Caneiro. Just 12 km from sintra center (vila) "the Portuguese Environment Agency is finishing the recovery of the cliff, located in front of the house, between 50 and 100 meters. There are no noisy works anymore but only a fence in the cliff. The works started last July 2017 and will be totally finished and removed in April 2018" The location of this houses are unique, and the environment did not change much since 1950. The lighthouse has five floors and a basement, containing two separate units. its perfect for large families or small groups travelling together.

Vous séjournerez à l’endroit où le gardien de phare suppléant demeurait pour donner un répit au gardien du phare principal, à l’époque où le poids servant à faire tourner le prisme du phare, devait être remonté aux trois heures. Le Phare de Cap-Chat est l’un des très rare qui fonctionne encore avec le prisme rotatif. Terrasse avec vue splendide. Accès au bloc sanitaire. Toilette sèche dans le Refuge.

Our Lighthouse Inn has 4 levels. The first level is kitchen /sitting area and bathroom with shower. The second has a comfortable cozy bedroom for two . And a washroom just outside the bedroom. The 3rd level can be used to accommodate children or extra guests. The top level is home to an amazing view. Nice place to sit and enjoy morning coffee or evening sunset. A peaceful Harbour view!
