The Joy Bus (Skoolie's Rule!)

Enjoy your stay in The Joy Bus, our converted school bus, equipped with a full size latex mattress, fridge, stove, & sink. BYO sheets/pillowcases, but blankets & pillows provided. Organic Coffee & Teas offered, spices/oil too. There's electricity, heater/fan. Large shared yard & fire pit (BYO firewood), & a shared chemical free pool. Private outdoor shower/dry flush toilet 50ft from bus, and commode for #1 on bus, or you can go in the bushes. Bus located off the driveway of the main house.

Blue Bus at Streeter Mountain Farm

The blue bus is a renovated 1970s era Bluebird school bus. The surrounding windows provide ample light and a panoramic forest view. The blue bus is tucked in a private corner of woods, about 250 meters from the main house and parking area. Heat for the bus is generated by woodfire. Firewood is provided but guest is in charge of maintaining fire. Knowledge of operating a woodstove is required. THE BUS IS NOT INSULATED. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING/PILLOWS OR REQUEST LINENS FOR $15 FEE.

The Nomad Pad

Enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere off grid. A tiny home built with love and made intentionally for healing and meditation. You will have a restful stay on this 1988 Blue Bird school bus that was converted into a tiny living space. Solar Power and 2 EcoFlow Delta Max 2000 Solar Generators included. 2 800 Watt Solar Panels on roof and portable 160W panel included. Water pumps, biodegradable toilet bags, 2 burner electric stovetop, tea kettle, toaster oven, air conditioner, propane heater.

Barn Door Bus - Unique Short Bus in Forest

The Barn Door Bus, built by Logan Phipps in 2021, is a unique 5-window bus on a forest bluff. The first floor includes a convertible seating area that becomes a bed, a cozy wood stove, a desk, counter space, and a sink. A ceiling "emergency exit" leads to a second bedroom with a double bed. Outside, you'll find a rooftop deck, private fire pit, and compost toilet. The bus has full power and is accessed via a short hike from your vehicle. A shared seasonal outdoor shower is at the campground.

Red Bus @ Streeter Mountain Farm

The Red Bus is a refurbished Bluebird short bus offering cozy shelter for double occupancy. This is an awesome space for a small family or couple looking to enjoy the pleasures of simple living close to the White Mountains. The Red Bus is about 300m from the main house, and 50m from parking. Electricity is provided. KNOWLEDGE OF WOOD-STOVE USE REQUIRED. There is a small wood-stove and logs for use in cold weather. PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR OWN PILLOWS AND BEDDING OR REQUEST LINENS FOR A $15 FEE.

This converted bus parked on our property provides a unique way to experience Lancaster County. Located in Amish country & about 10 minutes from great shopping, guests can wake up to peace, quiet and a countryside view. With a full-size bed as well as couches that easily convert into a King-sized bed, the bus is a great getaway for couples, friends, and families! FYI: read full listing for information. This is a glamping experience. Please don’t book with the expectation of a hotel stay.

Spend your days exploring the Delaware Coast and come home to a rustic Skoolie with a full kitchen & outdoor area. You have access to fire pit, grill, and outdoor seating area. We’ve renovated- there is a bunk bed, and a full bathroom with toilet, shower, and sink. The bathroom is in a separate building about 20 ft from the bus.
