We offer a 1st floor guest room & private bath inside our home near the Salisbury Cove area of Bar Harbor within walking distance from Bar Harbor Lobster Pound, Mainely Meat BBQ, Bear Creek Tavern, Utter Heaven Ice Cream, & Mini Golf. The Acadia NP Visitor Center, the start of the Park Loop Rd & our downtown village are within 2 to 5 miles. Drive into Acadia or to the village for more dining, shopping, and excursions. From late June to mid Oct, the free Island Explorer shuttle is an easy option.

Half Moon at Lookout Point - Suite & Private Bath

Relax in this beautiful master suite w private deck & en-suite bath, overlooking lovely grounds, flowering bushes, walking paths, and peak-a-boo ocean views. Enjoy the 1940's coastal cottage charm, with many modern updates. 5 minutes from Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park, Half Moon is central to everything on Mount Desert Island. Three Pines B&B overlooks Sullivan Harbor. The 40 acre waterfront, timberframed, solar homestead offers two guest rooms (booked individually), each with a private entrance, private bath, and spectacular water views. With over 800 ft. of shorefront, 3000 ft. of old railroad bed, and 40 acres of woodland, you'll never have to leave the property to enjoy the natural beauty of the Maine coast. A short drive will take you to Acadia National Park. A full, vegetarian breakfast is included.

Our place is next to Acadia National Park on the Schoodic Peninsula. Winter Harbor has restaurants and galleries, a ferry to Bar Harbor and the free Island Explorer bus to the Acadia National park and downtown Winter Harbor. You’ll love our home because it is very comfortable with beautiful gardens and many quiet sitting areas for early morning coffee or your late afternoon wine. Our place is very accommodating for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and for bird watchers.

5 Black Friar Inn and Pub Skylight Room

We are the Black Friar Inn and Pub, the Skylight room has a big skylight which overlooks our sunny yellow room with a queen bed. Enjoy those Bar Harbor starlit nights from this rooftop room. En Suite Bathroom has a shower. Breakfast is included with the room. Please see our website for the menu. Our in town location gives our guests a three minute walk to the harbor and downtown Bar Harbor. One dedicated parking spot, Fridge & WI-FI. Located on the third floor.

Taunton River Bed and Breakfast, Hancock Room

Come stay in the Hancock Room at our charming 1845 bed and breakfast, strategically located near Acadia National Park and Mt Desert Island. This beautifully appointed room has had the original pine floors restored. The room has a king sized bed and a single pullout with a shared bath. In addition, linens, bathrobes, hairdryer and toiletries are provided. We will jumpstart your day with a hearty freshly made breakfast. Most dietary concerns accommodated.

Red Oak, Maples Inn

Red Oak is nestled at the top of our Bar Harbor bed and breakfast, and features its own private “tree house” deck. From here, you can sit among the maple treetops and enjoy your coffee or a cold drink, reflect upon your day, and gaze across the neighborhood to the bell tower of St. Saviour on Mount Desert Street. At night, sleep soundly in your antique queen size bed. Red Oak Room is located on the third floor and has a private, en suite bathroom and shower.

Freedom House Second Floor 3 Bedroom Apartment

This 3 bedroom apartment occupies the second floor of the Freedom House Bed & Breakfast main house. Two of the bedrooms have a queen size bed, and one has a king size bed. The apartment has a comfortable living room with cable tv, and a fully equipped eat in kitchen. The bathroom has a claw foot tub/shower combination (and obviously a sink and toilet, lol!) *PLEASE BE AWARE THE STAIR CASE IS STEEP BY TODAYS STANDARDS AS THE HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1888.
