Situated on 0.7 of an acre, the cabin offers ample space for relaxation, enjoyment of the outdoors and the sounds of the nearby creek. Red Dog Retreat is settled back from the road amongst the trees. 2.75 mi directly up the hill from downtown Broad St. A 7min easy drive to Historic Downtown Nevada City & 15mins to the Yuba River. Walking and biking trails are steps away from our property and we are a short drive to Scott's Flat Reservoir. Bring your boats, bikes & kayaks! Grill and sit around the fire pit on our wrap around deck. We love our peaceful home and look forward to sharing it with guests from all backgrounds.

Pine Street Cottage Downtown Auburn - dog friendly

This 1920's cottage is a block away from Downtown Auburn's charming shops, bars & restaurants, and half mile from historic Old Town and Court House We are located just over a mile from Robie Point's famous Western States trail, and a half mile from the race's finish at Placer High School. We are ten minutes drive from the American River, a half hour from Lakes Folsom or Clementine, and an hour and 1/2 from Lake Tahoe. We are dog friendly, and hope you love our home as much as we do.

Sugarloaf Madrone Studio is tucked into the slope of Sugarloaf Mountain, overlooking the 7 Hills of Nevada City. It is a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to downtown restaurants, arts, and nightlife. Despite its proximity, you will feel like you are in the country with pastoral views, local parks, and a quiet neighborhood. You will share the house with a totally separate apartment on the ground level. The Madrone Studio is great for rest, relaxation, and being close to nature.

The walking and garden paths take you to the year round paddle boating and fishing pond, and fire pit area.

Beautiful house close to town and in the trees

Cancellations due to fire or Smokey air -allowed. Fragrance free cleaning products Wood floors, washer/dryer stocked kitchen Central heat. Air conditioning. High end mattresses. The house is off of a main road close to downtown Nevada City but in the tallest trees. There is some car noise during rush hour but none of that can be heard from inside of this very well insulated house. No loud parties. We do host dogs and occasionally cats.

The Crooked Inn

The Crooked Inn is truly a gem located right between walking distance to both the Auburn State Rec Area and Downtown Auburn. All the benefits of a house, with all the conveniences of a hotel. Owned and operated by me, a local Auburn resident, it's easy to feel at home while on the road. From an extensively stocked kitchen, oversized towels down to night lights so that you can find your way to that midnight snack without stubbing a toe.
