Privately nestled in a tall pine and aspen forest. At 9,300 ft, the summers are cool, the wildflowers are plentiful and the stars are bright. Very private, very quiet. Get away from it all at our cottage - Retreat at Round Hill. You will have access to miles of hiking, biking & ATV trails. We own 36 acres, including Round Hill, with amazing mountain views all around. We are backed up to National Forest and BLM land. We're located two miles south of Poncha Pass Summit. Only 15-20 minutes to downtown Salida and 30 minutes to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. We have a fire pit and propane grill outside the entryway. We offer discounts for weekly/longer stays.

Owner managed, with personal service! Warm, cozy, southwestern ranch home 100 feet from the South Arkansas river. We built it in 2014 on 20-acres with a private drive, 900' of riverfront with a trail, superb privacy with great views; its only 3.5-miles from downtown Salida and 18-miles from Monarch. We have a big garden, and chickens and ducks (fresh eggs in season!), and we're frequented by visits from deer, great-horned owls, red-tailed hawks, and sometimes wild turkeys and elk!
