Glamping Tent on Shenandoah Valley 86 acre Farm

Finally it's fall. Great camping weather. Electric blanket and propane heater. Half hour to Shenandoah National park. Or just walk our many fields and visit with our animals. Secluded and quiet, and yet close to restaurants, caverns, wineries, battlefields and more. Or just hang out and watch the sun and the moon come up. Catch lightning bugs. Look at the stars from our outside bed. For larger groups, we also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4. Fire pit w/free wood and s'mors .

Natural Living in a Bell Tent

Natural living in a Large Bell Tent in a Quiet & Peaceful Setting. Separate Private, Outdoor Bath House with a composting toilet and hot shower & an antique wash basin. We use only Natural & Organic cleaning and Laundry detergents. All bedding and linens are natural fibre and 100% cotton. Oscillating fan for the warmer temperatures. An Indoor approved Buddy propane space heater is provided in cooler weather. (We are pet free at this time because of the compact space.)

Thank you for another great year! The tent is being retired. Look for a new and wonderful building, coming this spring! Rest and recharge at this beautifully landscaped glamping retreat. Enjoy quiet moments of zen in the meditation garden, awake to the birds and butterflies, float the afternoon away in the pool or enjoy stargazing in the hot tub at night. We are set up for a quiet retreat for 2 people. Additional guests must be approved in advance. No parties!

Enjoy the serenity of nature while remaining close to nearby attractions! We are conveniently located just 11 miles from the Somerset PA Turnpike Interchange. Glamping at Pine Creek is a luxury camping experience.

Come hike White Oak Canyon and then stargaze at the Big Dipper Ranch. Spend your whole time on our 23 acres or use it as home base as you explore all that Madison County has to offer. Old Rag and White Oak Canyon are minutes away as are wineries, breweries, orchards and much more. Critters big and small, we have them all! Please know we are in a remote area and wild animals and insects are part of nature and come with the camping experience!

The Black Bear Tent

“The Black Bear Tent” is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Shenandoah River. The “BB Tent” is just steps to the river, stocked pond, and pavilion. You can enjoy all the outdoors but within minutes to town. The “BB Tent” is centrally located with a short drive to local Brew Houses, Wineries/Vineyards, National Parks, hikes, local eats, and so much more.

Conowingo Creek Campsite

Walking paths leading to the scenic Conowingo Creek make this private setting located in southern Lancaster County a perfect relaxing get away. A short walk will put you on the banks of ideal fishing or a refreshing dip in the beautiful waterway. Then, after an evening by the campfire and a cozy night of sleep, a short drive gives you access to the Susquehanna River where hiking and scenic overlooks abound.

Adorable Platform Tent w/ Outdoor Shower

Stay in our airy platform tent nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just off the Appalachian Trail. An hour from DC, it's a quick get away for a few quiet nights. Once you're here you can choose from dozens of hikes, swims, breweries and vineyards all within minutes of home. The tent is cozy and quiet complete with an outdoor shower, latrine, tiny kitchen, and big back porch to watch to the sunset.
