Enclosed in a walled garden on the 9 acre grounds of Kilcolgan Castle overlooking Galway Bay. Spacious and cosy Very quiet and peaceful yet so close to super restaurants, pubs and tourist attractions on the Wild Atlantic Way. Walk to the local village or to Tyrone House. Well heated and also has a wood burning stove and a game room The walled garden is home to horses, chickens, and a cat. There are greyhounds and other dogs on the grounds. The Castle is open for accomodation and tours.

Secluded cabin on animal sanctuary

The cabin is situated at our home and small self funded vegan/vegetarian sanctuary on a hill, nestled in its own small wild nature garden and developing food forest of fruit, nuts and wild edibles. We have developed our whole site into a track system or otherwise known as Paradise paddock. Meet some of our rescue animals. Sit by the campfire and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. It's a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish Midlands and surrounding counties.
