This 1-bedroom/1-bathroom house is 15-20min drive from Dodger Stadium. Built in the early 1940s, its decor is a nod to that era's timeless charm. Blackout drapes enhance the sleeping areas for a restful night's sleep. The beverage bar features ample cabinetry, an accent wall with backsplash, and unique open live edge shelves, crafted from the old avocado tree that once graced the patio. The patio has since been transformed with outdoor furniture, making it perfect for leisurely moments outdoors.

Our comfy studio guesthouse is nestled under a beautiful oak tree. Walking distance to Pasadena's vibrant, bustling Playhouse District. Free WiFi, TV (Prime and Netflix), and convenient on-site parking. Enjoy the shared patio with sofas. We have a microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, tea kettle, countertop burners, toaster oven, and fridge. However, we had to remove the kitchen sink, so we provide both hard dishes and disposable dishes, in case you don't want to have to wash them in the bathroom.

The property includes the Main House, where I reside, and a charming, stand-alone cottage for guests.

Located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. Adjacent to hiking & walking trails ,nature center ,golf course, shopping, restaurants, & entertainment.Santa Anita Racetrack and all of Pasadenas many attractions(NASA /JPL,Huntington Library ,Pasadena City College,Fuller Institute,Rose Bowl,California Institute of Technology are near by .Disneyland,Knotts Berry Farm, Staples Center,Universal Studios and beaches are also just a short freeway drive away.

Studio Cottage

This is a small Studio cottage at the rear of my home. It's craftsmanesk in style with a partially open ceiling and a skylight. It's perfect for a couple or single person. There is a swimming pool but it's not heated, fine for swimming June to Oct depending on the weather, unless you are a polar bear. It's a 5 min walk to the MetroGold Line and a 10 min walk to new restaurants on Figueroa St. I have a fairly extensive cactus / succulent garden.
