Lake Lure Hilltop Haven Surrounded by Nature

Unwind by soaking in the breath-taking patio views of Chimney Rock, Bald Mountain, Hickory Nut Gorge, and Lake Lure itself. The elegant interior includes a welcoming fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen, and smart TVs's in every bedroom. The exterior offers ample, easily accessible parking and the covered patio and brand-new deck are perfect for enjoying a nice dinner overlooking the beautiful mountain view. Wildlife can also be seen grazing in and around the 7+ acre property quite often. This home is located on a private hilltop that makes you feel like you are miles away from civilization. In reality you are conveniently located within minutes to restaurants, grocery stores and activities. The views from the patio are one of a kind!! You have a great view of the lake as well as a beautiful view of the Hickory Nut Gorge, Chimney Rock and Bald Mountain. The only part of the home that you will not have access to is the basement. It may feel like its miles from civilization because of the privacy that the 7+ acre property provides, but the reality is that restaurants, grocery stores, and plentiful activities are only minutes away. Dine on the lake at one of the local restaurants or hike Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Gorge to spot settings used in 1992's The Last of the Mohicans. There is no dining table! However, there are 4 bar stools at the bar and 4 table trays. The table trays can be used to eat on while sitting on the couches surrounding the T.V. and fireplace. There is one booster seat/high chair in the home that can be secured onto one of the bar stools for small children.

Idle Speed- The Ultimate Lake Lure Escape!

As of now, Lake Lure is not expected to be open for boating and/or swimming by summer 2025 as lake recovery and cleanup efforts are still ongoing. However, our home is good to go and ready to host. We have just reduced our rates and minimum booking nights to reflect the expected conditions. The house remains a wonderful place for gathering and creating memories. The lake and mountains are still as beautiful as ever. Thank you for your continued support of such a special small town.

Lakeside Newly Remodeled Modern Cabin on Lake Lure

Please read before booking! Lake Lure suffered extensive damage from Hurricane Helene on 9/28/24. This lake is drawn down and still has debris, but the house is fine. Debris removal continues daily but will be a long process. The rental price listed reflects this. Welcome to our fully remodeled modern cabin on Lake Lure! This house is essentially brand new, and is located right on the main channel of Lake Lure with HUGE mountain and lake views.
