Hidden gem off the beaten path in Aurora - don't be fooled by the strip mall exterior. Hands down the best Indian place I've found in Colorado. The service can be a bit slow as it's family run, but well worth the wait. The samosas and dosas are incredible. Always ask for the lowest spice setting to be safe ;-)

You'll find a 2.5 mile loop trail around the outside of the park, a lake with swans and paddleboats, and lots of fresh flowers depending on the time of year. Otherwise, you can ride bikes, play volleyball, or just relax and have a picnic under the large old trees. Free parking on any of the surrounding streets. Also check out all the fun homes around the park - some historic and some new.

Tranquil spot near the popular Cherry Creek area. Amazing greenhouse, seasonal lights, and even occasionally music events. Take a walk and breathe in. Also near Denver's popular Cheesman Park if you really need to stretch your legs!
