The Cabin at Painted Canyon Homestead This serene cabin is situated at the mouth of a canyon overlooking Morongo Valley, where the high desert meets the San Gorgonio & San Jacinto Mountains. As the guest house on our property of 5 acres, the cabin is privately located bordering vast public lands. Wander the property, hike the canyon trail, or take in the changing light from the wood-fired hot tub (or use it with fresh cold water!). Perfectly suited for two with plenty of extra space to explore.

We are a 10 minute drive to local hot spots, & less than 15 minutes to downtown Joshua Tree. The cabin sits on 5 acres with 360 pano views, dark stargazing skies, breathtaking sunrises + sunsets, and endless desert beauty. This cabin was reimagined for those looking to reset and reconnect to their wildish nature.

Life is peaceful in this modern craftsman cabin on 5 acres. Enjoy the hot tub on a dark sky property. Play the studio upright Steinway. Listen to vinyl (or Bluetooth) on the proper audiophile stereo. Watch movies on the 80” projector. Enjoy 360 degree views of open desert and mountains on the porch with a sketch pad or a book. Enjoy the best part of Joshua Tree (the rural part).
