Farlain Container Cottage by Northern ShieldAfter starting a modular building company in 2009, Northern Shield Development, we have finally taken the time to build something for ourselves. Our cottage is built using 3 containers as well as some conventional construction. It combines a modern-industrial feel with exposed steel and beams, while maintaining a cozy cottage feel with shiplap and soft texture. It’s been a place for us to get away and escape the craziness of the times we’ve been living in, and we’d love to share it with you!
Georgian Sands Cottage 1Beautiful beach cottage, perfect for a family of six, or two couples. Less than a minute walk to a beautiful beach with incredible sunsets and fireworks on holidays. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, and an open concept living/dining room. The front patio is set up for amazing outdoor meals and relaxation. Offering a BBQ, modern dining set, and a firepit. There are lawn chairs and a large firepit area in the backyard for bonfires after a day at the beach.
