Beautiful, Magical, Treehouse

"Glamping at its' best"! 16' x 16' TreeHouse, suspended between 3 large fir trees, queen size bed, loft w/2 twin beds, composting toilet, much more, situated on 20 acres with a pond. Gas heater, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot. IMPORTANT: this is a Tree House! Going up the spiral staircase is an adventure in itself, so pack small bags (or packs) (large suitcases are not appropriate). Welcome to our Clackamas Riverfront Guest House—a peaceful riverside retreat blending rustic charm and modern comfort. Relax in your private hot tub and sauna, unwind by the fireplace, and enjoy stunning river views. Fish, kayak, or raft right from the backyard. Bedrooms include white noise machines and earplugs to help with normal traffic during commute hours on our scenic road. Beautiful inside and out, Blackbird Cottage is located on 9 wooded acres. You'll have the entire second floor which includes a separate entrance, kitchen, dining area, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, washer/dryer, and deck with picnic table and grill. There are 3 queen beds and a twin bed, sleeping 7, plus a twin air mattresses if you want to get cozy. Explore the garden with goldfish & koi ponds, 1100' of creek, 2 waterfalls, & picnic area. Owner lives downstairs. No animals allowed (allergies).

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
