We have a large, lower unit, private studio with a separate entrance, washer/dryer, and private outdoor space. It is quiet amongst the Redwoods, with ample on street parking and is very close to San Francisco, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, downtown Mill Valley, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Sausalito, Tiburon, bike paths and mountain bike trails.

Floating Guest Cottage (houseboat)

Just minutes across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, the floating guest cottage offers the very best of the Sausalito houseboat experience. The main front room can easily accommodate small gatherings. Cooking in the complete kitchen is a pleasure. With two bedrooms, this is ideal for a couple, two couples or families with middle-schoolers or teenagers. (For safety reasons, no children under 10 are allowed.) This is a truly special residence in an unforgettable natural setting.

Looking for a healthy dose of tranquility and adventure at your doorstep? Over 100 steps from the road below, this 'treehouse' is perched above it all and horizontally oriented on a steep lot between two creeks. The all glass façade creates dramatic views of the redwoods, Mt. Tam and across downtown Mill Valley to Blithedale Ridge. Anchored to granite the house sits on handmade stone walls from rock harvested on the property during construction in the 1960s. Truly a one of a kind stay.

Unwind when you arrive with a good book from our library and relax on the deck overlooking the many rolling hills of our breathtaking and wild neighborhood. :)

A short drive to restaurants, shops, downtown Sausalito, 5 minutes to the Golden Gate Bridge, and a block from hiking trails. If there is something that interests you please ask, we grew up here! This private studio boasts amazing views of the golden gate national recreation area and easy access to hiking, Marin, and San Francisco. You’ll have a private entrance and the unit includes a queen bed, tv, kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, and a full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower combo. We also recently upgraded the hvac system so you’ll have heat and air conditioning to make your stay more comfortable.

Designed for comfort and efficiency, this stylish one-of-a-kind private suite has its own bath, kitchenette and garden deck. Located on the lower level of a two-level home, the suite has its own interior entrance - no shared spaces beyond the home's entry. It's on a quiet street with free parking. Shopping, restaurants, UCSF Parnassus, Golden Gate Park, and Transit are nearby.
