Canton Cottage- Modern Farmhouse 2 Bedroom

The Canton Cottage Built in 1901, this freshly remodeled two bedroom home is the perfect place to lay your head down after a long day. Located only 4 minutes from wal-mart and the rest of amenities that Salem has to offer. This home features new appliances, a workspace, two full beds, one queen bed, a sectional couch, and a quiet country setting to relax in. We have ordered new windows and are waiting on them to be installed. In the mean time 2 of our windows are cracked but sealed off.

Relaxing retreat on 16 acres of woods , minutes from shopping, restaurants, Lake Monroe and the I.U. stadium--a 13 minute drive for basketball and football fans. Fire pit, grill, hammock, board games, kitchenette, CD, record player. No cable /television. Cell phone service and internet available if sometimes a bit spotty. The studio is in the woods so you may see or encounter wildlife including deer, opossums, raccoons, snakes, bobcats, coyotes and birds. Owner lives on property.

It's a great place to relax, or enjoy kayaking, paddle boating, paddle boarding and fishing. We have one of the best views of the lake. The Guest House is fully renovated and decorated with relaxation in mind. It has everything you would need for your stay. After all, the lake is where your worries fade and memories are made! We are walking distance to all historic Madison offers. We are less than a mile from Clifty Park.
