Nestled at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in southern Colorado is a simple and elegant adobe-style solar home that is sure to calm your mind and warm your heart. The house sits on 3-1/2 acres of pinon and juniper trees and offers stunning valley and mountain views - all surrounded by deep sense of quiet. Due to the absence of city lights and the high elevation of Crestone, the stars are exceptionally bright in the night sky. The house features a full kitchen and two separate bedrooms

Secluded Stone Cabin w/ Wood-Fired Hot Tub

Peaceful retreat to unplug and unwind. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. (Tub is still under construction. Landscaping and some final details are not finished.) Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

The outer greenhouse features towering banana trees, grape vines, birds, turtles and even a fish pond. The inner living spaces are cozy and quiet. Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. Please come enjoy the woods, farm animals, trails, pond and wide open space while you're here! As JRR Tolkien said: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hold, and that means comfort.”

Not your ordinary BnB! A complete nature emersion. Unique camping vacation underground near Nashville, TN. Unlike other places, we provide a private gated driveway separate from our home's driveway. Come stay in the cedar Gully huts where you have your own chickens, veggies and property. You won't run into other customers here, this is a secluded getaway. Be a farmer for a weekend or hang out by the fire pit, hike to the creek and waterfalls or pick from our food forest or veggie garden.
