Our safari lodges are the ultimate glamping experience with unique bedding, relaxing covered porches, comfortable furniture and electricity. These units include a mini fridge, coffee maker, living room area, and full bathroom. Safari lodges sleep 2 in a plush queen bed with an option to add one cot for extra fees. These 16'X20' accommodations sit atop a raised deck with a fire pit and grill nearby A one-time pet fee of $50 per booking as well as a refundable $100 deposit collected upon check-in

Tipi with River Access, The Hip Hawk

The Hip Hawk Tipi is one of 7 unique stays here at Fredrock, a private family owned Glampground. The tipi has 2 queen beds and a large deck for star gazing or drinking your morning coffee. You will have your own private bath house and detached outdoor kitchenette, which includes a charcoal BBQ grill. The Hip Hawk has a firepit to gather around and for roasting marshmallows. There are trails throughout the property that lead to the beautiful, crystal clear, spring fed water of 12 Mile Creek.

TIPI HAS MINI-SPLIT HEAT AND A/C. Enjoy a truly unique and relaxing stay at the first glamping Tipi in the Shawnee. The Tipi is in a very secluded, remote and private location only steps away from the Shawnee National Forest. Experience a luxurious and remarkable getaway and explore everything the Shawnee has to offer. You will have direct access to the trail system from the Tipi with Sand Cave, Maxwell Ford and Millstone Lake nearby. We do have a no guest under 18 and no pets policy.
