Our safari lodges are the ultimate glamping experience with unique bedding, relaxing covered porches, comfortable furniture and electricity. These units include a mini fridge, coffee maker, living room area, and full bathroom. Safari lodges sleep 2 in a plush queen bed with an option to add one cot for extra fees. These 16'X20' accommodations sit atop a raised deck with a fire pit and grill nearby A one-time pet fee of $50 per booking as well as a refundable $100 deposit collected upon check-in

The Posh Pony Tipi is one of 7 unique stays here at Fredrock, a private family owned Glampground. The tipi has 2 queen beds and a large deck for star gazing or drinking your morning coffee. You will have your own private bath house and detached outdoor kitchenette, which includes a charcoal BBQ grill. The Posh Pony has a firepit to gather around and for roasting marshmallows. There are trails throughout the property that lead to the beautiful, crystal clear, spring fed water of 12 Mile Creek.

We are convenient to many local attractions like hiking, swimming, brewery and vineyard tours and yet secluded enough to heal your stress, enjoy time with your family or simply a special time away from the grind. Come enjoy our beautiful 200-acre national park-esque ranch fringed in gorgeous limestone boulders surrounding a spring-fed 15-acre private lake with outdoor living area and sand beach. Great for swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and excellent fishing. We are only 5 minutes from downtown Excelsior Springs, Excelsior Springs Golf Course and 3EX municipal airport. We live on-site and will generally be available throughout your stay should you need or desire.
