The historic mining property of The Ranch of The Rising Sun was designed and restored as a completely off-grid haven by filmmakerJulian T Pinder. The Ranch of the Rising Sun, a mining base camp built in the 1920's, is the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern amenities. Off grid on a full solar system and water well, the home also provides high speed wifi, state of the art cooling and heating systems on a smart NEST thermostat, flatscreen tv with Netflix, Amazon etc, new top of the line oven / stovetop, vintage sound system with Bluetooth capabilities, keyless door entry etc. Guests have access to the entire house and property, including the wood burning stove (eucalyptus firewood is provided at all times free of cost), cowboy wood burning hot tub / cool dipping pool, grand piano, native cactus garden, fire pit, outdoor banquet dining table, hammock, alkaline drinking water, and some of the best hiking in the area right out the back door. The house and property are also right off of Pioneertown Road, with no long rough dirt roads to navigate and beat your car up on. The ranch was built and owned by Julian Pinder, who has lived in the area for years. Rent from locals, not out-of-town investors! Entire house and property, as well as endless hiking and adventuring right behind the house on thousands of acres of stunning Wildlands Conservancy land, no tourists or park fees to deal with, just old fashioned exploring! There are detailed self-check in instructions. Tyler, my friend and property manager lives nearby and I'm 5 miles away at my other ranch. We respect your privacy 100% but if you need any advice, help, or have any questions we are always available by text or phone 24 hours a day. Pioneertown was built in the late 40's as a functioning movie set by Roy Rogers and the Sons of Pioneers; hundreds of Westerns have been shot here. Catch live music at Pappy and Harriets, minutes away, and go hiking and horseriding out the back door. Unfortunately you'll need a vehicle out here, it's rural! *There's a very strict maximum of 4 guests in the house as the solar and septic system cannot handle any more than that.

Our bungalow is nicely suited for 2, features a separate kitchen, a 3/4 bath, & large main room for sleeping or relaxing. We offer a private entrance with carport parking. Yard is fenced, with dog door, up to 2pets are welcome. Centrally located, within minutes of the airport, downtown and the University of Arizona. We are within walking distance to Reid Park for golfing or a visit to the Zoo. Even though we are midtown with easy access to many areas of town, you will find it surprisingly quiet.

Summit Cabin on the Rocks

Perched atop a miniature mountain with expansive views extending from the Pacific Ocean to the peak of San Gorgonio (highest mountain in SoCal), this concept cabin is like a disintegrated house spread across about a 1 acre area. The interior consists of a lofted queen size bed with a large skylight for stargazing, as well as a lounge space with an oversized leather sofa. The highlight of the cabin is the outdoor space. It features a cabana with a day-bed, bean bag, swing chairs, a kitchen, etc

The night sky is very dark, the water is sweet, WiFi is fast, a Verizon tower is close, the Cosmic Campground is up the road a bit & the Catwalk Recreational Trail is 4.5 miles from here. Life is peaceful in this modern craftsman cabin on 5 acres. Enjoy the hot tub on a dark sky property. Play the studio upright Steinway. Listen to vinyl (or Bluetooth) on the proper audiophile stereo. Watch movies on the 80” projector. Enjoy 360 degree views of open desert and mountains on the porch with a sketch pad or a book. Enjoy the best part of Joshua Tree (the rural part). Leave worries and noise in town. Yucca, 29, and JTNP all 15-30 mins away, and you won't hear any of it from here.

Indian Ridge Casita

The Casita (large studio type) sits up above Sulphur Springs Valley at 4400', much cooler temps, over looking Cochise Stronghold and the Dragoon Mountains. Secluded, and views galore. Chirachua National Monument, Whitewater Preserve, Fort Bowie, Willcox, good food, wineries, old western town. If you have horses, we have accommodations on our other property for them . Only two pets are allowed. Must have approval from host if more are requested. Pets MUST be listed in booking details.

Welcome to Shangri-La! A unique, private, and magical setting right in the middle of Cloudcroft. Almost half a fenced acre where you can wander the grounds, enjoy the fire pit, read in the cozy separate office, or grill on the barbecue. Within walking distance of the Lodge and golf course, or the Village boardwalk for shopping. Lots of personal touches! And if you watch for fairies, birds, or other forest creatures, they are all close by! Hot plate, fridge, and microwave provided.

Cabin Tulum VIP

The Cabin Tulum is located on top of a cliff of a camping and surfing place, far from the city; however, the cabin has total privacy since this area of the cliff will only have access to you as a guest. The Tulum cabin has what is necessary to spend an unforgettable night with your partner, has a garden area with table and grill (but has no kitchen), know and you will not regret it, it will be an unforgettable memory.
