This "farm stay" is a wonderful oasis in the middle of everywhere. 2 hours from New York and Boston, Farmington is a suburb of Hartford, and is rich with heritage and cultural arts. This property has privacy and fresh air, but is minutes away from upscale dining and shopping. Museums, poetry and music festivals, hiking, biking, fishing, and skiing nearby. The property is home to Clatter Ridge Farm, which raises sheep in it's pastures and pigs in the woods - "Home of the Certifiably Indulged"!

Enjoy a tranquil stay on a small farm. Enjoy sunrises across the fields and rolling hills while sipping your morning coffee. Enjoy beautiful evening skies while sitting around the fire pit. Mingle with the goats and ducks (fresh duck eggs are usually available for purchase). Conveniently located to Northampton, Amherst, the 5 colleges, restaurants and family activity. We are right next door to Snows Craft Farm and a few miles from Valley View Farm, Quonquont Farm and Look Park Concerts!

Farm House

A serene get away in a farm cottage on a real working farm. We homesteaded this property in 2012 and have created our own slice of paradise. We grow produce and flowers we sell at a local farmers market. We have Scottish Highlander cows, an ex racehorse, a shetland pony, goats, ducks, chickens, barn cats and a resident farm dog, Finula. You're welcome to roam the property, sit by the pond, visit with the animals, take a tour of the farm or explore all that Litchfield county has to offer!

Guesthouse Farm Stay

Come stay with us on our working farm. Relax and take in our beautiful 12-acre property while sitting on the back deck, overlooking pastures. Or for a more interactive experience, join us on a farm tour during our morning and evening farm chores. Our farm was established in 1739 with a rich history in agriculture and livestock. Our cottage is studio-style with an open bedroom, living room, and dining area. There is a kitchette and bathroom with a shower for your convenience.

Cottage on a Fiber Farm

Stay in a cottage on a working luxury fiber farm. Small charming cottage has two bedrooms and one bath, a family room, dining area and full kitchen. It has a cute covered porch. This is grandma and grandpas house when they come to the farm and is furnished accordingly. If you are looking for a modern open space, this is not going to be for you. This property is not appropriate for small children, please contact us before booking with children under five.

Newly renovated cabin located privately on 100 acre tree farm. Located within 20 miles from three ski resorts, a short drive to Battenkill River, Manchester Outlets and just a 10 minute drive to VAST trails/ National Forrest.
