BIRCHES COTTAGE

Kick off your shoes and relax in sumptuous comfort on the beautiful Brittlewood conservancy. Bordered on one side by the Umzimkulu river and surrounded by mountains Birches cottage invites you to relax and encounter Underberg's seasons and natural beauty. A 2km meandering trail connects several view sites, decks and picnic spots and gives access to trout waters, natural river pools and even the petite, forested Patience Pool. A maximum of 4 guests can visit the conservancy at one time.

Granny Smith Cottage

Nestled in the valley below the famous Sani Pass, Ripon Farm views the winding road up into Lesotho and on clear nights the Sani Top Chalet is visible on the skyline. While Ripon is a working farm, guests can walk freely amongst the Nguni herd (and stroke a tame calf) on the 187ha extent. Two farm dams with bass fishing are available and rods can be hired on site. The views of The Giants Cup and Sani Valley, within the uKhahlamba Maloti Drakensberg Park, are truly spectacular.

It is situated on a property that was once burnt down in a storm. The section which was untouched by the fire were recently converted into a space that's perfect for both long & short term stays. The personal touches make the space perfect for professionals needing to travel for business & ideal for couples & small families.

Views, views, views, why come to this area unless you have remarkable views and this little cottage has the very best view of the Sani Pass. Just built, with tasteful decor and finishes, this 70 square meter cottage has a private garden, an extra large king size bed, an indoor and outdoor fireplace, a huge patio, free wifi, and private parking. Close to restaurants and based in a quiet tranquil area. Catering can be arranged if required.
