Enjoy the historical charm of this original built 1911 home that was moved post 1964 earthquake to its current location in the new Valdez townsite. Historic Thompson House

Thompson House is historic, quirky, unique and comfortable. It survived the 1964 9.2 earthquake and tsunami that caused Old Valdez to relocate to the new and present town site. An addition more than doubled the size of the original one room cabin which included an extensive remodel.
