Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The entire constructed yurt is yours to enjoy privately. Nestled on an organic farm, it sits a bit above Bristol offering sweeping views of the valley and the beautiful Adirondack mountains. There are many farm animals on the property and farm tours are available upon request. PLEASE NOTE: The queen bed is only accessible by a ladder. The property is located up a steep driveway. During the winter months all wheel drive vehicles are required.

Two queen beds, air mattress & futon mattress. 12 mi. to Montpelier and 7 mi. in the opposite direction to Lake Elmore, 4 miles to Worcester Trailhead and 6 miles to Hunger Mt! If you're into backcountry exploring & doing things on skis, snow-shoes or mountain bikes, our yurt is a fabulous jumping off point for you. Situated a stone's throw from Section 17 of the Catamount Trail, VT's end-to-end x-country ski trail, you will discover both moderate and advanced adventures here. Rugged but cozy, our yurt warms up quickly thanks to its resident "Aspen" wood stove. Add a charming outhouse, farm pump, deck & picnic table to the picture, and you'll be camping in style.

Our 88-acre farm spreads up a steep hillside above the village of Randolph, one mile away. The land is a mixture of open areas where we rotate our sheep flock daily, and wooded land with trails and old stone walls. You might hear the occasional car or truck on a nearby road, but more likely you'll hear our sheep baaing to one another or the cows across the valley trumpeting, or the abundance of birdsong. The energy here is calming and peaceful--we know you will love it as much as we do.

The Yurt In The Woods is 30 ft in diameter - 700 spacious sq. ft. It's surrounded by trees and has a yard. In October, I require a two night stay with the exception of October 4 & 11. There is a "one" night stay fee of $50 - charged as extra services Allowed 2 dogs with the agreement to my animal policy & $50 fee WiFi 1,000 megabits per second a fiber network AC, Outdoor Gas Grill , Outdoor Fire Circle, and Outdoor Shower available June - October
